Approximately 8 in 10 of us will experience back or neck pain at some point in our lives, and for some it can be severe, debilitating and reoccurring. It’s our body’s core, after all. So when the muscles and nerves near the spine are irritated, the pain and discomfort can make it difficult to get up – let alone work and do the things we love. We have an extensive background in the treatment of spinal conditions. Advanced manual therapy training and exercise progression gives us the best tools to help you improve and get back to the activities that make you happy.
As experts in movement and orthopedics, we are able to provide a quick and effective assessment using in-depth evaluation and functional movement screenings to get the best treatment plan to return you to sport better than you were before. Active Recovery has unique training expertise and equipment designed to get you back to optimal playing levels. The use of BFR can speed up healing and recovery while minimizing the potential for muscle loss, all while minimizing the training load, and overall stress, required at the site of your injury or surgery.
Dry Needling is a unique technique using a thin monofilament needle to release trigger points(knots) in your muscles to improve pain, mobility, and overall function. It can be used on many different injuries and diagnoses to improve a person’s ability to stay active and healthy.
